Door Prizes
Linda Spencer won the first door prize of a honey dew scented candle because she has changed the least since
high school.
Kenny Rison Bolin & Charles
Robinson tied for the apple pie scented candle because they both changed the most.
Kenny said he gained the 100 lbs. that Charles lost.
The next door prize was a PNC notebook that was to go to the person that could go up to the microphone & sing
our school fight song. (Since no one at any previous reunion committee could remember it.) We are proud to announce that our
4 cheerleaders in attendance: Suzanne Fulks, Martha Brown, Cindy Warner & Laura Steele
entertained us with the song - movements & all! But there was a problem, we only had one notebook. Since the cheerleaders had an advantage, we opened it
up to any guy that could come up & sing it.
Jim Brewer is the proud new owner of a PNC notebook!
The person that traveled the farthest for this reunion was
Suzanne Fulks. She came all the way from Ft. Lauderdale,
FL and won a PNC tote bag.
Mary Griffith was the first person (only person) to run up to the front to answer the question: "What was the theme to
our football homecoming float our senior year?" She said it was "yellow submarine". We thought it was "rollercoaster". We had
to have a discussion with Scott Fowler, who submitted the question, to clarify. Mary was correct because she said she
remembers stuffing yellow paper & sleeping in it. And when you think about it, it is a double page spread just before our senior pictures in
the yearbook!! She won $25 in gift certificates to Dairy Queen that can be used nation wide.
Cindy Moock also won $25 in Dairy Queen gift certificates because she has the most grandchildren among us.
Two!!
The grand door prize of the evening was a random drawing from the tickets you received upon arrival at the sign in desk.
Beth Thompson, #5366362, won 2 free tickets to our 30 year reunion for June 2009!!
Congratulations to all of our winners & thanks to our own
Jeff Walters, our DJ for the evening. Many thanks also go
to Liska Riley Coggeshall owner of LaGrange Dairy Queen,
Scott Fowler of PNC Bank & Lisa Abby
Palmer of Overhead Door Company of Louisville.
